About Hin Hon

      Hin Hon, Hong Kong born and raised multi-lingual contemporary dancer. First graduated with a Bachelor degree majoring in translation; and obtained a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA), majoring in Contemporary Dance.

      Hon has been awarded the HKSAR Government Fund Scholarship throughout her four-year study in HKAPA. She has collaborated with international and local choreographers of various styles and backgrounds. Her recent works include: The Weight of Lightness, site-specific dance performance curated by M+ Pavilion of West Kowloon Cultural District, choreographed by David Steele from the UK; Cantigas de Amigo by John Utans from Australia in Macau International Youth Dance Festival 2019; 13th Floor Below Ground by Christina Mertzani from Greek in 2019; Coven by Mickael Marso Riviere from UK in HKAPA School of Dance Summer Performance 2021; and We Dance @ West Kowloon with Tim Casson in 2022.

      Dance and poem are her present choreographic focus and area of research; and she is eager to seek opportunity to explore possibilities in/outside theatre with artists across disciplines.
